A date with Serdang Pan Mee

Been dating my two housemates to try this famous pan mee at Serdang ever since my colleague recommends this to me.

And it was so surprise, that three of us finally can spare out our Sunday evening for this date. ♡

It is a Chinese shop located at the roadside with no signboards, but full of banners with Chinese words written 拉面板面 (Ramen & Pan Mee) and the snacks/ side dishes (in example 水饺 dumplings, 腐皮 bean curd, 肉丸 pork ball and 鱼丸 fish ball) available to order.

A simple set up of the stall with few workers to make the dough, cook the noodle, take order and serve the customers.

There are two spaces for customers to wait and get serve. This is one of the spaces. Kinda spacious and you can imagine how many customers they have for each day!

From this superb big menu, only I know the shop name is actually Ken & Shirley Pan Mee, Ramen House!
For goodness sake, who will notice this if the person does not come in the shop? -_-
Anyway, just a tip for you, the most popular pan mee here is Spinach Pan Mee in which the noodle colour is green.
And what makes the difference between Pan Mee and Ramen?
Well, Pan Mee is served with pork slices, fish balls and vegie while Ramen is served with additional corn and seaweed.
There are a variety of Pan Mee and Ramen served ranging from Spinach, Spicy and Dried Chili. There is also Yee Mee available.

Before our food is served....

Do we look like we are going to interview people? Lol.

Our pan mee is here!
If you realised, the one at the left is actually green pan mee. That's my Spinach Pan Mee (菠菜板面) while the others having Spicy Pan Mee (麻辣板面).

Not forgetting their own handmade sambal, something you should add in to spice up the taste.
Black one is dried shrimp chili 虾米辣椒. Too spicy till I cant stand at all but two of my housemates totally loving it. The red one is normal sambal, chili based sauce served with lime and it tastes sour and a little spicy which I love it very much.

The happy faces with their pan mee.

A closer look of my Spincah Pan Mee.

Look small portion but its actually quite full to finish the whole bowl.
Except the vegie, I like everything served together with the pan mee. You might feel ordinary with the pan mee but its absolutely taste different from other stall as the pan mee are made by the uncle himself. I ordered a dumpling to try on, and it tastes so-so only.

Spinach Pan Mee: RM4.00 each
Spicy Pan Mee: RM4.50 each
Add on dumpling: RM1.00 each
Cincau and liang teh: RM1.20 each

Expensive?
Hmmm, consider cheap for KL price :)
And I shall visit this stall again and again, just for the pan mee.
